Unrivaled Announces Players, Rules, Ticketing, and Fan Voting Platform for 1 on 1 Tournament Presented by Sprite
Fan voting for player seedings begins January 30, with competition beginning on February 10 for the $350,000 total prize pool
MIAMI (January 28, 2025) – Today, Unrivaled announced details around the inaugural 1 on 1 Tournament presented by Sprite, featuring 30 of the league’s athletes competing for a $350K total prize pool on February 10, 11 and 14 on TNT, truTV and Max. A fan vote will help determine the seedings going into the tournament to “Crown the One” before brackets are created and revealed in early February.
Pre-sale tickets go live Wednesday, January 29 at 1 p.m. ET for newsletter subscribers, and sale opens for the wider public on January 30 at 1 p.m. ET on Unrivaled’s website via Ticketmaster.
A breakdown of key dates is below:
- Jan. 29 – Pre-sale tickets become available to Unrivaled newsletter subscribers
- Jan. 30 – Voting period begins for player seedings
- Jan. 30 – Public on-sale tickets become available on Unrivaled’s website
- Feb. 2 – Voting period ends for player seedings
- Early February – Brackets are revealed
- Feb. 10 – 1st Round begins (14 games, single-elimination). truTV will air the first session of the 1st Round from 2-4 p.m. ET. TNT and truTV will air the second session of the 1st Round from 7-9 p.m. ET.
- Feb. 11 – 2nd Round and Quarterfinals (12 games, single-elimination). truTV will air both the 2nd Round and Quarterfinals from 7 – 10 p.m. ET
- Feb. 14 – Semi-finals (single elimination) and Finals (best of 3). TNT and truTV will air the Semi-finals and Finals from 7:30 – 9 p.m. ET. The first ever 1 on 1 Champion will be crowned
The prize pool is split among the winner ($200K), each clubmate of the winner ($10k each), runner-up ($50K), and semi-finalists ($25k for each player that does not advance to the Finals, $50K total).

The pods have been set with the goal of distributing talent, positions, and compelling matchups. Within each pod, fans will help vote to seed the players and form matchups in a 1 v 8, 2 v 7, 3 v 6, and 4 v 5 format. The two top seeds in Pods A and D will have a first-round bye.
The rules of the 1 on 1 Tournament presented by Sprite are as follows:
- 1st and 2nd Rounds, Quarterfinals, and Semi-finals will be single elimination, with games played to a winning score of 11 points, OR to 10 minutes in length (whichever is reached first). The Finals will be a best-of-three series, also with a winning score of 11 points.
- The clock will not stop for the duration of the game.
- There will be a seven (7)-second shot clock for each possession.
- If a player makes their shot, they get the next possession (make-it, take-it).
- There will be traditional scoring rules, a two (2)-point shot still counts for two (2) points, and a three (3)-point shot counts for three (3) points.
